“God’s power within us is greater than the circumstances around us.” ~Chins Mulbalsen
Do you ever write quotes on a sticky note and put them somewhere obvious so you’ll see them again and again? Or do you use a quote to create an inspiring screen saver? If so, then the above opening quote is a good one to post. It is an eleven word summary of this Sunday’s scripture from Ephesians 3: 14-21.
This text is overflowing with inspiration to prompt powerful, biblical affirmations that we can personalize or universalize:
* God strengthens me in my inner self from riches of holy glory through the Spirit.
* Christ lives in my heart through faith.
* With strong roots in love we hold firm, even when the world shakes.
* The best journey in life is to explore the width, length, height and depth of God’s
love.
* Today is a good day to know the love of Christ that is beyond knowledge.
* I am filled entirely with the fullness of God.
* The power of God’s work within us is able to accomplish superabundantly far more
than all we can ask or imagine.
Do any of these affirmations resonate with you? If so, meditate or even memorize it. It could be life changing or even transforming. Or, create your own affirmation by reading Ephesians 3: 14-21 and discovering what comes up for you. It may shift your life in a good way! Or, at the very least, lift your mood.
Grace and Peace,
Rev. Elder Dwayne
