Greetings MCCDC Family,
We are your MCCDC Board of Directors. We wanted to take a moment to reintroduce ourselves and reaffirm our commitment to the well-being of our congregation.
Our responsibilities include fiduciary and administrative leadership of the church during this time of transition. You will be hearing from us often to keep you informed, update you on current situations, and request your ongoing prayers.
Rev. Cathy will continue to coordinate worship planning, programming, financial support, and other items as well.
We have been supported by the MCC Denomination to receive information and guidance to help us move through this transition as seamlessly as possible.

This Week’s Reflection
Hi MCCDC Family,
What a day celebration we had on Sunday and thank you for your presence in many ways to send Rev. Dwayne off not only in style yet with care and love. I am writing to let you know that we are with you. Your board is working tirelessly and are constantly in contact with each other to focus on next moves for the wellbeing of the entire congregation.
Times of transition can be filled with wonder, anxiety, and sometimes, fear. On some level we can chart our own paths forward with God’s abiding help and continue to stay strong and make a positive difference in community inside and outside the walls of 472 Ridge Street.
Know that God is continuing to guide and direct us as we lean on each other. I also encourage you to get engaged and find your ministry. The church is YOU! The world needs what we uniquely have to offer so let’s lead people to find themselves, community, and God. Thank you for being a part of MCCDC.

Dear God, thank you for the opportunities to grow stronger in your image, and be a light that draw others into your spiritual realm. As we continue to seek the guidance of your Holy Spirit we are ever grateful for your grace and wisdom. We are “filled to the brim” with prayers of gratitude and are overflowing with joy to be part of an inclusive, beloved community overflowing with generosity, expanding your great works around the globe through the sharing of precious gifts—time, financial giving, talents, and other treasures that you so generously give us.
Thank you for providing opportunities to grow in faith and trust you in all that you are. God, you have provided us with more than we could ever imagine, and are still blessing us as we move forward. We pray to remain loyal to you in everyday busyness, and to be good stewards of your prosperity—health, wisdom, and wealth, including other gifts both spiritual and physical not mentioned. We are filled with gratitude for our abilities to accomplish the plans you place before us to carry out your great works.

MCCDC Hospitality Ministry needs your help!
Please donate:
· Donate/Volunteer your time once a month on Sunday to coordinate, setup or clean up during Hospitality time.
· Donate supplies:
· Food Items: Individually package cookies, Granola bars, Fresh fruit, Yogurt, Coffee, Sugar, Water, tea bags, and juices (Individually cartons)
· Dry Goods: Coffee cups, 8 inch plates, 6 inch plates, paper towels, Clorox Cleaning Spray, dish clothes and dish towels.
