Elements of Faith

FAITH

We have just finished the segment called “FAITH” that are the elements of the Altar Within.

We  studied the element of Prayer and specifically how to use the Lord’s Prayer, John Chapter 17, or the Psalms  as tools for timeless connections to God.

We also looked at  the element of Soul Power, the essence of you and especially how to empower and enrich your soul through God’s restoration, helping others, and “knitting our souls together” to energize our souls.

Next we tackled the element of the Holy Spirit, what it is and how it works to help us connect through the Altar within.

We focused on the issue of Divine Guidance and how God leads us through confirming witnesses of the Word, Spirit, circumstances, and others.

We finished up with a study on Acts of Faith and what faith means to you.

Sunday Morning Worship
9am & 11am

Diverse
MCCDC is home to one of the denomination's most diverse congregations. While some say that the most segregated times of the week is on Sunday morning, you'll find nothing further than the truth about our church. Our rich diversity is also reflected in our worship styles. All of our Sunday worship reflects a blended style. The 9am worship service features more traditional elements of Christian worship while our 11am worship is more contemporary and charismatic.

Music
Since our founding in the early 1970s, MCCDC's worship has been known for its excellence in Music Ministry. Now, our choirs help usher in a highly engaging spirit to our Sunday worship.

Communion
As part of the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches, we offer communion at all of our worship services. We practice an open communion. One does not need to be a part of this church or any church to partake of God's gifts at the Communion Table. We offer communion with or without short prayer. We welcome all to God's table.
